I hope everyone who is reading this is surrounded by family, good health and positive energy during these unprecedented times. Everyone who knew my mom knew how much she loved kids. While locked down in New Jersey during this pandemic I have had the opportunity to look at many, I mean MANY, old pictures. MOST pictures where there were kids, my mom was either holding them or they were surrounding her; she was a true magnet of love to/ from all kids.
At some point in time I inherited that gene from her as I am now a very proud 4th, 5th and 6th Grade English Language Arts teacher for Bilingual Education for Central America (BECA) in Cofradia, Honduras. For the past 7+ years, Honduras has held an extremely special place in my heart and I have truly grown a strong connection to Honduras’ true beauty: the families and kids.
With the warm spirit and memory of my mom's forever love and passion for kids in mind my personal goal is to raise $6,500 for the BECA COVID-19 Community Care Fund, which is enough to fully fund ONE CLASSROOM for the entire year: teachers, scholarships, trainings, materials and much more.

From my last personal fundraiser for my classrooms, I will make an initial $175 donation of extra funds not spent.
From the bottom of my heart I cannot thank everyone enough for your support in all my work in Honduras as I grow as a leader and educator.
