The BECA Believers program is a monthly sponsorship program that supports our teachers and students on their learning journey together. BECA Believers are a growing community of alumni and friends whose support allows BECA and our community partners to confidently plan for the future.

BECA's baseline annual operations cost approximately $240,000 - including intensive training and professional development, a modest stipend and living expenses for our international volunteers, a fair living wage for our Honduran team members, curriculum and pedagogy resources, and special events that help us sustain vibrant community-rooted collaborations. This equals out to approximately $480/student each year.

BECA Believers' monthly gifts ensure that our students have access to well-trained, culturally affirming bilingual teachers, school supplies, extracurricular activities, and more. Our teachers are passionate about educating our students, but passion doesn't pay for teacher training, living expenses, or stipends. Your monthly commitment helps nourish generations of Honduran students and teachers who are championing learning and literacy, challenging the status quo, and embodying a service-minded attitude as they move into and through adulthood as persistent advocates for social change.
